Hatzenbühler Photography is the micro-business identity of photographer Dan Hatzenbuehler. While my primary specialties are architectural photography and architectural interiors photography, I have extensive experience in portrait photography and historic flag photography, and have done other commercial work as well as fine arts creation.
As a registered architect, I bring to photography of the built environment a trained designer's eye. Years of experience in the field as both architect and photographer uniquely equip me to capture appropriate images of these spaces. New technology now gives me the tools to refine those images in ways that were heretofore difficult or impossible.
More than nine years of photographing historical reenactments have sharpened my portrait skills and given me extensive on-location, large format, view camera experience. This led to photographing historic flags for the United Daughters of the Confederacy, for the book Texas Flags and for an exhibition by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
